Fieldmaster Ltd does not build a boxed product, we build each chair to the client’s requirements, we are increasingly responding to a varied selection of requests ranging from cigarette holders to satellite navigation and computer systems. As a business Fieldmaster Ltd was setup to meet these challenges, we saw that ma...ss manufactured powered wheelchairs do not meet all user needs and wants, a bit like you can only choose between a Ford Fiesta and Vauxhall Corsa. We have the ability and skill set to custom build multi function powered wheelchairs with an endless list of options, we have three main chassis platforms,
The first platform is our Fieldmaster all terrain range that has the ability to convert from true independent 4 wheel drive mode to 2 wheel drive mode allowing the chair to be used outdoor on beaches, forests, fishing, camping etc and also indoor in cafes, toilets, shops and the home.
The second platform is the Wiz range that is designed to be used primarily indoors with a limited outdoor capability. The chairs have a compact footprint and ample seat riser allowing greater flexibility in the home and office environment.
The third platform is the Barry XL range that is designed for the Bariatric user; the chassis has variable widths and is built to the customer requirements incorporating strength, comfort and durability.
Current Development in progress:
Mini multimedia PC and touch screen·
Wireless internet·
Voice control·
Bluetooth integration·
Infra red interface
Alternative drive control - Proximity Head and muscle impulse
IPhone integration
Multimedia inputs and outputs
12v power outlet
Environmental control interface
Self levelling stability control
Stand assist
Battery Technology
As our development is customer driven we would love to hear from you if you have a wish list relating to a powered wheelchair and/or option.

The sun shone on Ae All-Abilities Day 12th September 2009 |
|
A great day was had by all at the Ae All-abilities day, the conditions where perfect, the more adventurous paths retained an element of mud to give the Fieldmasters a good workout and the sun streamed through the trees set against a brilliant blue backdrop.

We had a steady flow of visitors trying out the Fieldmaster throughout the day and at one point some inter company racing ensued, its was a lot of fun and may be an idea for future trips, point to point race?, treasure hunt?, orienteering?, endurance? topped of with BBQ, beer and wine????...

Fieldmaster Ltd, filming for Naidex News |
|
| |
Fieldmaster was invited to participate in the Naidex news show, we were given the use of a camera man & reporter for the day to film our product range. We couldn't think of a better way to demonstrate them than by asking two of our customers to be filmed using their own chairs. |
|
| |
|

|
Wendy Byrne has had her distinctive pink and purple Fieldmaster 224 for over 12 months and volunteered to demonstrate it in a town shopping environment and out and about in Cannock Chase.
Kate Rutter volunteered to demonstrate the Jimmy Wiz in her antiques shop The Dog House, Kate has also been our tester for each of the chairs as they have been launched.
|
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
There are several people we would like to thank for their help, Wendy Byrne, Rob Dunster and Ruby who travelled all the way from Southampton to Wolverhampton to take part. Kate & Jon Rutter and all the staff at the Dog house for their patience. And to Camera man Dave and his wicked sense of humour and Simon our intrepid reporter who even got his shoes dirty in the name of quality art. |
